"As soon as you walk through the front door at Woodside you feel the warmth of the place—and that goes a long way from the people who greet you to the furniture, the decorations, the quietness, just everything is so comforting.
"When I first came in, Stephanie took me up and showed me another resident’s room. He was so friendly and accommodating and I found that to be true of everyone. It’s like one big family.
"There are so many activities to enjoy here, too. There’s something for everyone including, my favorite, crafts. I’ve been helping make bracelets for underprivileged children and the men make cars and trucks. I go to yoga and I’ve also started playing bingo three nights a week. It’s a wonderful diversion and it’s a great way to get to know people and just laugh. We also get educated on the little furry animals they give out as prizes. It’s really a lot of fun and I look forward to it.
"As far as the staff, I don’t think they can be beat! They’re very conscientious and are always ready to help."
